| Deskripsi | The general purpose of the community service program was to run Workshop on Classroom Action Research (CAR) for Elementary Physical Education Teachers in Yogyakarta Special Province. The specific purposes were to help the teachers with (1) knowledge development about CAR, (2) skills to conduct CAR, (3) application of their knowledge and skills into real CAR projects. The results of the program were that (1) it run as intended without significant barriers, (2) the majority of the participants (85%) were able to understand the contents and very much enthusiastic to implement what the got from the workshop, and (3) they request follow-up programs directed toward their capacity in writing research papers. We recommend that the workshop can be followed-up by other workshops aiming at implementing real CAR as well as the report writing, and (2) it needs a collaborative action with local school districts so that such workshop will be able to involve wider participation. |
